In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top photo and video apps on iOS in the Middle East showed varied performance trends. Data provided by Sensor Tower highlights key metrics such as downloads, revenue, and active users.

CapCut - Video Editor from Bytedance Pte. Ltd saw a notable increase in weekly revenue, rising from around $92.7K at the beginning of October to approximately $159.2K by the end of December. Weekly downloads demonstrated a similar upward trend, starting at about 73K and peaking at nearly 132K in the final week. Active users also surged, growing from 3.8M to over 4.9M by the quarter's end.

Instagram, developed by Instagram, Inc., experienced a fluctuating revenue pattern, with figures ranging from $146K to $186K throughout the quarter. Downloads started at about 77K and ended slightly lower at 73K. The app maintained a steady active user base, remaining around 5.5M.

YouTube, by Google, reported a significant revenue peak of approximately $1.5M in late November, with a general upward trend in revenue throughout the quarter. Downloads hovered between 60K and 90K, while active users consistently stayed above 17.6M.

Snapchat from Snap, Inc. showed a revenue increase, reaching over $1M in late November. Downloads fluctuated, starting at 71K and closing at 68K, with active users consistently above 17M, indicating a stable user base.

Finally, Canva: AI Photo & Video Editor by Canva experienced a varied revenue pattern, peaking at around $180K in late November. Downloads started at 65K and ended the quarter at 42K. Active users peaked at over 1.3M in mid-October but saw a decrease to about 1M by the end of December.
